If we are to glorify God then we must follow the example of Jesus in missions. And this means getting out of our seat and out into the world.

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor." -Luke 4: 18-19 NIV

We are called to share the good news of the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ through building relationships with people both in our own community, nation and around the world.

God asks us to not only speak about His love but to show it. We demonstrate what Jesus is like by meeting needs and lending a helping hand, praying and financial support to individuals, missionaries, and ministries globally.

God directs us to short term missions work where we work alongside missionaries in the field. It is there that our eyes are opened and our hearts are softened as we meet those in need. Our work includes such things but is not limited to construction of homes, churches, orphanages, education, health, camps for children and youth, and men’s and women’s ministries.
