Friday Night 6:30-9:00pm
United is a welcoming space for high school students to experience the Lord, to practice their spiritual gifts, to learn how to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, and to grow in their purpose and calling as they follow Jesus.
The heart of United is to see students center themselves in godly community, joy and good old fashioned fun outside of the pressures of culture or the distractions of screens. Students meet in the River Lobby (enter at the “River Health and Wellness” entrance) every Friday. We also run bible studies and events throughout the year.

STUDENT MINISTRIES

WHAT TO EXPECT
We believe that every child has the ability to encounter the Holy Spirit and experience the love of Jesus. Our heart is to help steward this time in each child’s life to see them grow into a thriving relationship with the Lord.
Our elementary and junior high students spend the first part of a Sunday morning in the sanctuary with the whole church family where they can encounter and experience the presence of the Lord as well as learn from example what it means to worship. Students are then dismissed out of the sanctuary and into the student wing where they play games, do crafts, learn scripture, discuss practical application and even have some more worship that is lead by other elementary aged students.
The Lord has placed it on our heart to press in and hear what it is that He would like to share with the children of our community specifically. Therefore we have been writing a specific curriculum that is going through the whole Bible in three years. Our heart is also that from preschool up children are learning the same stories so that when families get in the car they can share all about what they have learned just in different age appropriate ways.
Our preschool through 5th graders are taught in our student wing which is a safe and secure area where they are loved and encouraged by our background checked staff.
Follow the His Kids signs to the “New Families” Check-In desk, or stop by the check-in kiosks to get your family registered in our His Kids system. This is when you can note any allergies, or special needs your child may have.
Once you’ve registered, stickers will print for each child (and a diaper bag sticker if you need it) along with a coordinating parent code for you to use at pick up. Should we need you during the service, we will text your phone, so keep it nearby during service. If we can’t reach you by text, your parent code will be displayed on the screens to page you from the sanctuary.
CHECK IN

At the end of service head back to His Kids and look for the His Kids Check-Out signs that correlate to your students age/grade. (Middle school students are not checked out and are dismissed at the end of service.)
When you arrive at the check out desk you will present our check-out team with your parent sticker and they will verify your info and we will call your student from their classroom to meet you at our parent pick up area.
