Jim- As early as I can remember in my walk with the Lord I have known that there was a call of God on my life to be a preacher and teacher. Having left my home at the age of 16 to pursue a hockey career in Canada I became very aware of my need mentors and roll models in my life. I have been blessed to be surrounded by so many over the years. It is now my desire to reproduce this gift that has been given to me from the Lord and through the lives of so many.
After marrying my wife in 2003 and graduating bible college in 2004, we have been involved mentoring and discipling small groups and individuals. In 2006 we planted a church with an organization know as Dove Christian Fellowship International- which teaches a home-church model. Starting in 2003, I also maintained a career in retail management. I began attending HPC in 2012, shortly after feeling released from leading our church. Beth and I have been serving as needed with in the HPC community ever since.
It is a great joy to have joined our pastoral staff full time this year. I am looking forward to serve at His Providence Church in a compacity that affords me the opportunity to utilize my gifts and passions, to host the presence of God, and raise up a generation of spirit filled community builders.
Beth- If you are a mother of young children at HPC or in our surrounding area... there's a chance you already know Beth! Beth is the regional director for MOPS International and is great connector of people. She is heavily involved with family ministries here at HPC as well as other women's ministries- including our Women's Bible Studies that run on Wednesdays throughout the year. Beth is a great supporter and important piece of my ministry. Beth and I compliment each other in our giftings... and my ministry would not be the same without the her!
